SAN JOSE, Calif., July 09, 2013 -- Extreme Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTR) will be celebrating the opening of its new Research Triangle Park facility in Morrisville at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 11th.

Extreme Networks has been expanding its RTP based operations over the past several years. Extreme Networks conducted an extensive search before selecting the Morrisville location.. The new facility will include a new corporate data center that showcases Extreme Networks networking technology with strong connectivity to our Silicon Valley and Chennai, India campuses.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be attended by Morrisville Mayor Jackie Holcombe, Tony Almeida, senior advisor to Governor McCrory and other city officials. It is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11th at 2121 RDU Center Drive, Morrisville. Chuck will be joined by the Extreme Networks executive staff and the entire RTP team. Chuck will briefly discuss the future plans for the company and then conduct a tour of the facility for our guests.
