Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 15, 2007, Michael Palu, the Vice President, Corporate Controller of Extreme Networks, Inc. (the “Company”), announced his resignation from the Company, effective as of November 2, 2007. The Company has begun a search for Mr. Palu’s successor.
